The Finnish Journal of Foreign Affairs is a pre-eminent discussion forum on international relations, global politics and economics in Finland and, as such, unique in the country. The Journal comes out four times a year and was first published in 1961.

The subscribers include high-level decision makers in the public and private sector, as well as parliamentarians, embassies, political correspondents and journalists, researchers, students and civil society.

Ulkopolitiikka was shortlisted for the best magazine award in 2020. Ulkopolitiikka was awarded for the best layout in the Edit Magazine competition 2014. In 2013 and 2015, the journal won the the first prize in the same awards as the Best trade magazine of the year in Finland.
